Class: Micro-Macramé Jewelry 101

This workshop will give you an overview of the materials, basic knots, and techniques required to make beautiful micro-macramé jewelry. The class will be devoted to working on a practice sampler to gain proficiency in the essential techniques. A bookmark kit will be supplied that utilizes what you've learned and incorporates beads into the knotwork. Complete instructions and diagrams are provided so that the student can continue to work on the bookmark at home.

Supplies to Bring: Bead dish, macramé board (11X17" fiberboard or cork board preferred), masking tape, scissors, task lamp, quilting pins (10-15), crewel embroidery needle (#2 or similar).

Materials in Kit: Knot diagrams, 18-gauge nylon practice cord. Bookmark kit with cord, beads, instructions, and diagrams is provided so that the student can continue to work on the bookmark at home.
