Learn some fundamental knots and techniques of micro macramé jewelry while making a fun and contemporary bracelet. Using the double half-hitch, students will make a knotted and embellished “fiber bead” that will be the centerpiece of a multistrand beaded bracelet. 3 or more color choices will be available.
Supplies to Bring: macramé board (11X17" fiber or cork board prefered), masking tape, scissors, bead dish or mat, quilting pins (10-15), crewel embroidery needle (#2 or similar), #10 beading needle.
For all skill levels. Previous experience with the Double Half Hitch is very helpful but not required.
